Every parent of an emotionally-challenged student wants their child to succeed. A strong focus on academic achievement is a good start, but children with special emotional needs will only get there when their deeper needs are met.

The Gamut School provides all the support students need to thrive.

Our unique dual curriculum of social-emotional education combined with rigorous academics educates and celebrates the whole child. Rather than a “wait-to-fail” approach, we provide an abundance of daily support to students and families from the moment they come to our school.

As the first middle school based on the philosophy of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), we combine this evidence-based approach with additional therapeutic approaches to help students overcome a variety of emotional challenges.

Here, we run the gamut to meet the complex needs of these exceptional students and encourage their love of learning.
